Through generous sponsorship by our customers, we have been able to rapidly expand our worker well-being program in recent years. Here are examples of projects that we wish to highlight.
Loinorn Community Center
Sponsored by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and by Mighty Leaf, this facility is nearing completion and will serve as an indoor gathering place for Loinorn community members who up until now have had not place to use for events such as weddings and other large gatherings.
Loinorn Daycare Center
The Rose House, sponsored by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, can comfortably accommodate estate worker preschool children in a setting that fosters healthy development.
Norwood Daycare Center
This facility is in need of expansion, and Mighty Leaf has generously offered to sponsor the upgrade. The preschool area will be expanded, the toilet facilities will be upgraded, and an outdoor play area will be enlarged and improved.
Computer Learning Centers
For the first time in the tea industry, computer learning centers were constructed within a tea estate for the sole benefit of the tea workers and their children. These individuals now have access to the wealth of educational information available over the internet.
